As a Working Student Market Intelligence, you support OceanScore in analysing markets, competitors, and business questions through a combination of structured thinking and applied data analysis. You work with real business data, assumptions, and imperfect inputs and help turn them into clear insights that support strategic decisions.
You collaborate closely with our Product & Data, Marketing and Sales Teams and contribute to topics that directly influence growth and product direction. The role is hands-on and execution-focused, while requiring strong analytical judgment: you are expected to structure questions, analyse data pragmatically, and communicate results clearly to decision-makers.

Your Key Responsibilities
Market & Competitive Analysis: Analyse markets and competitors using qualitative research and quantitative data, synthesising findings into clear insights and hypotheses.
Applied Data Analysis & Modelling: Work with business data and models to support simulations, forecasts, and expansion scenarios, validating assumptions and results.
Strategic Decision Support: Prepare structured analyses, factsheets, and presentations that clearly outline implications, options, and trade-offs for management.
Project Support: Support cross-functional projects and act as an analytical interface between marketing, sales, product, and service teams.
What You Bring
You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in business, economics, management, or a related field.
You have previous experience with applied data analytics, e.g. through internships, working student roles, or academic projects.
You are confident working with Excel and data-driven analyses; experience with BI tools, SQL, or similar is a plus but not required.
You enjoy working analytically and are comfortable forming views based on incomplete or evolving information.
You communicate clearly in English; German is a plus.
